Mountain Vista is being developed as a true Net Zero Community set on a beautiful 125-acre parcel of undeveloped land in the Charlestown, NH area, near the New Hampshire-Vermont border and close to the Connecticut River Valley. In addition to embracing the natural beauty of the forested property with stunning views from an elevation of over 1,000 feet are truly breath taking. Wildlife and nature abound as well as dozens of different species of hardwood and evergreens, wildflowers, and other natural elements found in this undisturbed wonderland. To keep with this theme, the Designers of this majestic community are keeping as many aspects as close to nature as possible.
A True Net Zero Community
The concept of providing all power needed in the community with a Net Zero approach, where all properties will have the solar generated renewable energy required to provide 100% of all energy required on a year round basis. This will be accomplished with both on-site solar photovoltaic generation as well as the installation of a one megawatt solar farm which will also be located on the property.
Hybrid Anirondack Style HomesAs an additional enhancement to this natural beauty, all of the homes will be done with Adirondack Style architecture to stay with the nature driven theme already in place.
There will be many natural areas for birding, hiking, climbing, or just enjoying the wild nature. In the winter months there will be on-site snow shoeing and cross-country ski trails to enjoy.
These homes will be high end structures that range from 3,000 - 7,000 square feet.
There is a total of nine different elevations that are available in addition to the main model which shall be the largest of the Selection. The interior walls, kitchens, baths can be customized to your personal style.
To keep with the framework of privacy and appreciation of the unique beauty, only 20 sites will be developed and only the 10 featured models will be build on the mountain leaving a lot of privacy and open, green and undisturbed natural beauty.
Of the many additional destinations within 30-45 minutes from Mountain Vista are Mt. Snow, Okemo Ski Area, Stranton Mountain, Killington and Mt.Ascutney. All of which are visible from the higher elevations of the property.
